The next stop on our tour is 628 E. Vermont St. To get there, continue north on College Avenue to Vermont Street, and turn left (west) on Vermont.

If you think this home looks just a tad shinier than its neighbors, it's not your imagination. This home is one of a handful of recently-constructed homes in Lockerbie Square that have been designed to fit in with the architectural styles that are prevalent in the district’s historic homes. Built in 1992-93, it won the “New Construction Award” from the Historic Landmarks Foundation - proof that the old and the new can coexist in harmony.
