LEGO® has gone from childhood toy to world-wide phenomenon. Highly collectible and always in demand, these favorite building blocks are so popular entire events are created around them. This month in Indianapolis alone, there are at least three LEGO® events. Mark your calendars for the LEGO®-lovers in your life.

Kids are invited to build a mini model and take it home - all for free! Quantities are limited and offer is good only while supplies last. A new model is available every month, based on a theme for the month.

This month's model is a LEGO® garden. The workshop will take place on Tuesday, March 6 at 5:00 p.m. The event is open to children ages 6 to 14.

Children of all ages will delight in this opportunity to experiment with travel LEGO®-style. This special exhibit at the Children's Museum explores the creation of vehicles with LEGO® bricks. Imagine where you need to go, what vehicle you need to take you there and create it! In addition to building your own masterpiece, view the work of LEGO® Master Builders. Some of their creations on display include the driving of the Golden Spike in the Transcontinental Railroad, the building of the first Model T, the Wright Brothers flight at Kitty Hawk, and a cruise liner. Children can also have their photo taken behind the wheel of a kid-size race car created entirely out of LEGO® DUPLO® bricks.

Age-appropriate build tables featuring parts and pieces from popular LEGO® sets such as the LEGO® City, LEGO® Creator, LEGO® Friends, and LEGO® DUPLO® lines are available in the exhibit for children to create their own vehicles. Admission to this exhibit is included in regular museum ticket prices.
