After Indianapolis rings in the New Year, you might be left thinking the excitement is over, but there's plenty left to do this month. This classic Broadway production open in 1941 and ran until 1944, with over 1,444 shows. It gained popularity in the 1944 film adaptation, starring Cary Grant. Beef & Boards has brought the show back to Indianapolis. Follow the story of spinster sisters Abby and Martha Brewster, known for their devotion to family and charity. A little less known, the two have an infinity for poisioning lonely old men! Tickets are $37 - $55 and include a buffet dinner.

Andrew Lloyd Webber & Tim Rice’s musical adaptation of the well-known Biblical tale concludes this month! The trials and triumphs of Jacob’s favorite son is told entirely in song, blending 50s Rock-n-Roll, Country Western, Calypso, Pop and French Chanson. Tickets are $44 for adults; $34 for youth 17 and under.

Devour Downtown is a bi-annual event that gives diners an opportunity to try restaurants that they might not normally consider. During the event more than 50 of Indy's best restaurants offer 3-course meals for $30 (some two for $30; some at lunch). A great event for families with younger children. Disney on Ice: Worlds of Fantasy features four Disney stories, combined into one action-packed show. Favorite characters include Buzz Lightyear and Woody from the Toy Story movies, as well as Cars characters, Tinkerbell and her friends and Ariel, the Little Mermaid. Tickets for the show range in price from $12 - $70.

Farmer's markets are a great way to get fresh vegetables, fruit, meat, baked goods, herbs, natural cleaning products and other locally produced food and household products. The Indy Winter Farmers Market at the Indianapolis City Market, strives to provide just that. The market is located in the West Wing of City Market and meets every Saturday morning.
