2012 Easter Egg Hunts

Easter is this weekend and if you haven't had a chance to participate in an Easter egg hunt this year with your children, there's still time. If you're really ambitious, you may be able to hit several Easter egg hunts on the same day. This list of events will help you plan your holiday weekend.

Indianapolis Motor Speedway Kids Club Easter Event

What's more iconic of Indianapolis than the Motor Speedway? Enjoy a day at the track with your kids this Saturday with their special Easter egg hunt. Arrive early to be eligible to win raffle prizes that include Indianapolis 500 tickets, Brickyard 400 tickets, Red Bull Indianapolis GP Ticket, Soy-Yer Dough and prizes from Kroger. The event will be outside located inside Turn 2 adjacent to the IMS Hall of Fame Museum. The event is free, but you must pre-register on their website.

North Central Kiwanis Club Easter Egg Hunt

The North Central Kiwanis Club will sponsor a free Easter egg hunt at First Baptist Church, College Avenue. There will be many surprises for the kids, fun games, face painting, prizes and over 5,000 eggs to find. Arrive early to participate in all the activities.

New Bethel Baptist Church Easter Egg Hunt

Begin the event with an indoor craft - creating your own Easter egg hunt container. This free event is open to all ages and will offer several different hunts, based on age groups. The hunt will be followed by refreshments and story time.

Northminster Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Celebrate Easter at Northminster Presbyterian Annual Easter Egg Hunt. The event is rain or shine and is for ages 0 through 5th grade. There are different hunts for each egg group. Even toddlers and babies have their own egg hunts. This event is free.

Holland Park Easter Egg Hunt

The Holland Park Easter egg hunt will take place this Saturday - rain or shine. Easter Bunny pictures will be available for those who bring their own cameras. The hunt is for school grades 2 and under and is free.

Brownsburg Easter Egg Hunt

The town of Brownsburg is hosting an Easter Egg hunt at Arbuckle Acres Park with candy and toy filled eggs. Free for ages infant to age 12. Big prizes include a Nintendo DS3, a scooter and a bike!

Danville Kiwanis Club Easter Egg Hunt

Join Danville Parks and Recreation and the Kiwanis Club of Danville for an Easter egg hunt at Ellis Park. The hunt will begin at 2:00 p.m. and pictures with the Easter Bunny will start at 1:30 p.m. at the Train Station. The kid's egg hunt will have 3 age categories, 2-3, 4-6, and 7-9. Eggs contain candy and prizes.

Englewood Masonic Lodge Annual Breakfast & Egg Hunt

Start the morning off with an all-you-can-eat breakfast at the Englewood Masonic Lodge. After breakfast, enjoy the easter egg hunt. Cost for breakfast is $6 donation for adults; $5 donation for active military, police and firefighters; $3 donation for children over 2 years. The Easter egg hunt will begin at 11 a.m. and is free for children of all ages.
