Christy Pingleton has been a resident of the Indianapolis area for more than three decades.

Experience:

Christy has authored hundreds of published magazine articles and is currently an editor for Wiley Publishing, one of the world's foremost book publishing companies, where she specializes in editing For Dummies books for the consumer market. She also has ten years of experience as a freelance writer, editor, and proofreader, working for numerous national publishers.

Her greatest experience, however, comes from making Indianapolis her home for the past 30-plus years. Having grown up and raised three children of her own in the Hoosier capitol, she brings a wealth of personal experiences to her position as About's Indianapolis Guide, relaying all that Indy has to offer its residents.

Education:

Christy earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University, with a major in journalism and minors in business administration and home economics.
