The kids are out of school on President's Day, forcing many parents to take a day off work or make special childcare arrangements. Both venues are offering free admission in honor of President's Day.
Conner prairie will honor President's Day with special presidential themed activities. You're invited to a surprise birthday party for George Washington. Talk with President Lincoln, box FDR, challenge Benjamin Harrison in trivia. Conner Prairie is open and admission is free all day long Monday, February 18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Children's Museum of Indianapolis will also celebrate President's Day with special activities. Learn about Indiana's presidential heritage, meet President Lincoln and develop your financial skills with crafts and activities throughout the museum. Activities take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The museum, is free and open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., February 18.
Large crowds are expected at both venue. Arrive early to avoid some of the headaches.
