You can't miss it. The flu is everywhere this year and it is highly contagious. The Indianapolis Star is reporting that the state has seen over 56 deaths from the flu this year. While the Indiana State Department of Health is reporting a slight decline in the amount of flu-like symptoms accounting for hospitals visits, there's no doubt it is still very much alive. The typical flu seasons begins in October and can expand to March or even beyond.
