If you haven't enjoyed local theatre lately, I strong suggest a trip to the Indiana Repertory Theatre this weekend. Their current production, Jackie & Me had audiences in tears and ended with a standing ovation on Opening Night. It is the story of Jackie Robinson, the baseball legend who broke the race barriers in the Major League. It is a powerful story and perfect for both adults and older children. It is also an educational illustration regarding the history of race relations in the United States, tying in perfect with Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Tickets range in price from $20 - $45. The play runs through February 16. Read my full review of Jackie & Me to get the full scoop!
