Imagine a warm, summer day, live music and the intoxicating smell of smoked barbeque. Rib America combines these great elements into an annual downtown Indianapolis event that brings in thousands of visitors. While the barbeque is the big draw, there's plenty of great bands performing. This year's performers include George Clinton & Parliament/Funkadelic, Eddie Money, moe., Cheap Trick, Duke Tumatoe & The Power Trio, Hunter Smith Band, Night Ranger, Tesla and many more!
Food vendors include top award-winning barbeque teams. In addition to music and food, there are games and other vendors to check out. Rib America runs from August 31 to September 3. Admission is free on Friday until 5 p.m. and until 3 p.m. Saturday through Monday. Afterwards, admission is $7. Children 12 and under are always free. Food, beverage, and game tickets are available for purchase in strips of 7 for $10.
