Where to See Holiday Lights in Indianapolis

Christmas is just days away and Central Indiana is awash in festive lights and holiday displays. The "Indianapolis Star" has put together an interactive map of neighborhood displays. In addition, check out the following lighting displays:
  • Downtown - The Soldiers and Sailors Monument is draped with lights and the many shops and restaurants near the circle are adorned for the holidays.
  • Broad Ripple - this neighborhood held a contest for the best lights and the results are spectacular.
  • Indianapolis Zoo - The zoo celebrates the holidays with thousands of lights scattered throughout the property. The attraction is open December 3-30 (except December 24 and 25) from 5pm to 9pm. Zoo admission is $8.50 for adults and $6.50 for seniors and children.
